Maca graduated in 2017 from the Complutense University of Madrid and completed a clinical placement with Raheny in 2018. After working in practices in Spain and the UK, she returned to Raheny in 2021 and has since become a key part of the clinical team.
She is currently our Lead Surgical Vet, with a strong focus on small animal soft tissue surgery and anaesthesia. Maca has completed a postgraduate certificate in small animal soft tissue surgery and anaesthesia, and is awaiting her final results .She has a strong interest in emergency care and diagnostic imaging.
When she’s not at work, Maca enjoys hiking with her dog Mazapán, listening to music and reading.
